Gorman-Rupp VGH Series Pumps
Gorman-Rupp VGH Series centrifugal pumps are engineered for maximum operating efficiency and minimal energy consumption when pumping dirty liquids and mild abrasives. The enclosed impeller design incorporates double curvature vanes for higher efficiency. The entrance of the volute casing has dynamic positioning vanes that direct the flow to the impeller for increased efficiency while reducing net positive suction head (NPSH). Impeller trims can provide maximum flexibility for your specific application. The VGH style is standard with ductile iron casing, gray iron impeller with replaceable iron wear rings and fluorocarbon elastomers. In addition, the VGH Series is supplied with heavy-duty oil-lubricated bearing pedestal suitable for V-belt driving when trimming the impeller is not desirable.
Heavy-duty, long-life mechanical seals are standard. No continuous adjustments or leaking as with packing seals. Seals are easily accessible and easy to replace. (VGH Series is standard with a cartridge-style seal.) Enclosed, cast iron impeller features double curvature vanes for high efficiency, energy savings and low NPSH values. (Stainless steel impeller available as an option.)
